V&V Miniatures Skirmish With New 28mm Roman Velites

V&V Miniatures have expanded their selection of Ancient wargaming miniatures for you to use in your skirmishes. The newest releases as their 28mm resin Roman Velites that are ready to harass your enemies from an ambush position.

The set comes armed with their javelins to hurl into the flanks of advancing units and their shield that should protect them from errant archery. They come in that traditional attire that a lot of folks will be familiar with when it comes to Roman Velites, namely the wolf-skin cloaks and light tunics.

As with all of the V&V Miniatures, the range is very well detailed and the resin allows them to pick out all of the nooks and crannies in the sculpts. Just make sure you do the drybrushing on the wolf cloaks before you even attempt the rest of the miniature!

You could find a use for these in a larger game but I think these would be a good option for something a bit smaller, perhaps SAGA or an equivalent.
