I really like that this set allows you to build archers which can be posed for rank and file games as well as skirmish ones. You can set up a good firing line with archers at the back firing over the kneeling ones, giving you the impression of a well-oiled regiment.

If you're looking to rank up these archers then you also have a selection of spara in the set which means you can set up a defensive line like this to protect them.

I am always a big fan of seeing archers done well in wargaming and these look like a great option for those building up a Persian army. You can go all in and make something of a diorama for your army or twist the bodies into different poses and use them as a dynamic skirmish warband hunting down a group of pesky Greeks.

The folks at Victrix have mentioned that these archers can be used for Early or Late Achaemenid Persians so take your pick of periods!
