Victrix Miniatures Preview Upcoming 28mm Medieval Range
July 7, 2023 by brennon
Victrix Miniatures have previewed their upcoming 28mm plastic range which is going to be going to a new period of history for them! They've done Napoleonics, Dark Age, Ancients and World War II but now they're going to going Medieval.
Medieval Knight // Victrix Miniatures
The range is going to be covering the 12th and 13th Centuries and there will be plastic kits that cover the Crusades for the Western and Islamic forces as well a dive into Feudal Europe, venturing to Spain and the Wars Of The Reconquista.
The current renders are focused on showcasing a lot of the Christian Knights that would have been charging around during the period. You've got lots of dynamically posed Knights wearing heavy armour. The Knights have been designed to work for the 3rd to 7th Crusade and could be used as standard knights but also the Templars, Hospitallers, Teutonic Knights and more.

Victrix has already been talking in-depth about the inspiration that they have used to bring these plastic kits to the tabletop. A lot more is going to be coming down the pipeline no doubt as we start to see more previews of this latest set of 28mm miniatures. Their recent Blog Post is a pretty darn good read.
As well as the Christians, Victrix are also going to be working on the Moslems that would have been fighting during the period. A new set of infantry is on the way that could be used to represent these Islamic warriors from different regions of the Middle East and Spain.

There is much more to come for this range with the various Crusades already covered. They are also going to be diving into the Angevin Empire, France and the Holy Roman Empire as well as Byzantines, Italians and more. It will be fun to see what Victrix show off next!
Are you going to be picking up these miniatures?
