Victrix Miniatures Preview Their New 28mm Islamic Infantry

Victrix Miniatures have begun to preview some of the new 28mm Islamic Infantry that you'll be able to scoop up soon to help supplement your armies of the Middle East for use in Crusades and beyond.

This range of infantry are going to be useful for representing Arab, Syrian, Abbasid and Fatamid Egyptians from the 10th through to the 13th Century. However, you could also uses these to represent those Arab warriors from earlier periods of warfare or perhaps in the march into what is now Spain.

There will be a lot of spearmen in the set but your miniatures could also be armed with axes and swords. There will also be command components including standard bearer arms, trumpets, drums and proper commanders too. There are also some archers on the way which might get filtered into the set so you have loads of variety.

As you might have guessed, the set will also feature a huge array of different heads with turbans, helmets, hats and bare heads. This allows you to cover the various peoples that made up the Islamic armies of the period.

These are going to be coming "soon" and might end up being a good match to those Medieval Knights that Victrix have also been tinkering with.
