Victrix Limited Shows Off New Gallic Command Musician
February 14, 2017 by stvitusdancern
Victrix Limited has released the final piece of the Gallic Command and that is the musician. No good army goes to battle without their musician and the Gauls are no exception, in the set, there will be two different types of musicians available, one with the standard musician with a shield and animal horn.
The second will have what looks like an extended horn with a dragon's head on the end of the horn held high above the troops possibly as a source of pride and terror for your enemies.
These will be part of the Gauls' line coming out and will be in 28mm and plastic. The detail is pretty nice and I think will take to paint nicely.
What do you think?

Enough mouthwatering renders, I want the real miniatures. Now! 😉
unfortunately based on last years releases we’ll have to wait another couple of months for the Romans and then the Gauls after that. I miss the pre internet days when a magazine would show you the new things and you would just go and buy them. Now everything is 2 years in advance and by the time it’s released I’ve forgotten what I was waiting on 😉
If(when) I do Gauls it will have to be the carnyx all the way. If I want a fellow with a shield and animal horn I’ll paint more vikings 😛
Oh Victrix, you shameless tease! Why do you torment us so?
This looks to be a superb set of miniatures. I guess we won’t see them in the plastic til the autumn but as soon as we do I’ll be picking up a couple of boxes. Well done Victrix!
they look good the scots (Celts?) had them as well they freaked the Romans that much they build Hadrian’s wall to keep us in the north.
