Fire The Big Guns With Victoria’s New Svargan Shock Soldat
April 1, 2020 by brennon
Victoria Miniatures keep the reinforcements coming for their alternative band of grimdark armies as they added the Svargan Shock Soldats Heavy Weapons Crew into the mix this week. This crew of female soldiers are getting ready to load the big guns.
This set allows you to make a set of female soldiers who are getting ready to load some of the big artillery pieces that you find within these armies of the far future. You'll find a team with options for soldiers checking range, listening for orders and moving ammo around to get the guns ready for action. You can see a breakdown of pieces here...
I am really loving not only this kit but also the wealth of options Victoria Miniatures have brought to the tabletop. This is an addition to just one of the thirteen different factions that Victoria Miniatures has been tinkering with over the years which allows you to design unique and interesting Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum forces.
The kit looks super detailed and seems like it would be great to play around with. I always like painting up the crew for artillery weapons as I always think they come loaded with character and are their own little diorama on the tabletop!
What do you make of this new kit?

They are very nice as are all that Victoria miniatures produce. This artillery crew are roughly the same price as a Death Korps of Krieg crew set around £24 but unlike the Forge World set you get 6 Svargan instead of 5 Kreigers and more customisation options. I was thinking gamers are likely to be able to put together a Svargan/Valhallan force more cheaply than they would a Forge World Death Korps. Also recommend the female Svargan sniper that you’ll find in the character miniatures section of Victoria’s online store.
A nice sniper/demolition team.
I’ve got a few of Victoria Miniatures sets. The castings are very clear and you can’t fault all of the optional kit they come with. These look very useful too.
They are beautiful minis.
