Victoria Miniatures Prepare For Project Warhorse Kickstarter!

Grimdark Sci-Fi Cavalry miniatures are on the way from Victoria Miniatures. Project Warhorse is going to bring a whole host of awesome 28mm scale cavalry to the tabletop as both physical miniatures and in STL form for 3D Printing.

Project Warhorse is going to allow Victoria Miniatures to produce five different types of Sci-Fi cavalry (at least!) to match the various regiments that they have already crafted. As you might have guessed, this is allowing you to build up some new Rough Rider-type units to use in games like Warhammer 40,000 alongside the Astra Militarum/Imperial Guard.
Some great miniatures have already been shown off including these (as they stand) Winged Hussars. Taking cues from Historical sources, these already look amazing and are full of the pomp and ceremony you'd expect from the grimdark future.

A lot more is getting previewed over on Facebook from Victoria Miniatures, offering up a glimpse of what will eventually be on Kickstarter. With a lot of folks seeking ways to customise and enhance their armies, miniatures like these certainly cut the mustard. It's also worth exploring more about their existing Regiments miniatures as you might find something you fall in love with.

If I played grim dark I’d be picking these over the GW versions, the slouch hatted rough riders look splendid
I’m likely to look at these for sure. I’ll need the postage and taxes to be suitable for the UK though so lets hope they have arranged something for local fulfilment.
