A new supplement is coming up from Cubicle 7 for those diving into Warhammer 40,000: Wrath & Glory later this year. Church Of Steel will introduce loads of vehicles into the mix for use during your grimdark roleplaying games.
Church Of Steel (Download & Pre-Order Now) // Wrath & Glory
Church Of Steel will feature rules for more than eighty vehicles for the different factions that make up the Gilead System and beyond. This then combines with narrative-focused rules for using them in your games without them becoming a handful.
You'll also find ways to upgrade and personalise your vehicles with new weapons and more. The book also delves into the mysteries of the Machine Spirit and how that intertwines with the philosophies of the Imperium.
More on what's inside...
- A detailed exploration of the Adeptus Mechanicus and the Machine Cult in the Gilead System, as well as the reverence other factions have for their vehicles.
- Rules for customising a vehicle’s appearance and quirks, as well as building a rich history of its exploits.
- Information on the nature of Machine Spirits in Imperial vehicles as well as how xenos species view their own vehicles.
- Guidance for incorporating travel into your games, from interplanetary voyages to treks across planetary wasteland and journeys through massive hive cities.
- Rules for vehicle actions, interactions, and complications in and out of combat
- Customisation options for upgrading vehicle performance, adding new wargear, and installing new weapons.
- Stats for over a hundred vehicles from tanks, to troop carriers, to personal flyers, including a section on Necron vehicles and the mysterious living metal necrodermis.
- Rules for vehicular weaponry and wargear, including massive battle cannons, deadly melee weapons, and powerful means of protection.
I like that there are also travel rules in the mix too. There are all sorts of strange and weird things that you could run into when adventuring in the world of Warhammer 40,000.
Are you tempted to snap this book up when it releases?
"Church Of Steel will feature rules for more than eighty vehicles for the different factions that make up the Gilead System and beyond..."
Honestly? That cover art has me thinking of ways to utilise the old Gork-Morka rules because dammit, I want to have a Space Marine jump from atop a Chimera onto an Ork Wartrukk whilst the tank’s turret, a Skitarri and a Battle Sister blast away at the Mob inside….
Ooh come hither an be cleansed with imperial fire for your misdeeds.
