Vanguard Miniatures Fire Up New 6mm Corsair Pattern Mechs
March 25, 2022 by brennon
Vanguard Miniatures have a neat range of 6mm miniatures called Defeat In Detail. Their range is pretty expansive and has been designed for use with the likes of Epic but they could also be used for a range of other games as well. The most recent mech release for this is the Corsair Pattern Light Battle Strider.

The set comes with three of these mechs that are designed for the Novan Commonwealth collection. There are a couple of great weapon options in the kit that offer up ways to engage in melee and ranged combat on the tabletop.

Included in the set, you'll find two hull weapon types, two arm weapons, three leg poses, two sensor head designs and there is also the option to build an open cockpit where you can see the pilot.

This is a pretty neat range that I'd not actually encountered before. It caught my attention because we've had folks delving deeper into mech-based wargames on the tabletop over the last while and I thought folks might appreciate checking out these as alternative options.
It is worth taking a look at their expanded Defeat In Detail collection as they have quite a few options that might be handy for the likes Of Steel Rift or Epic as we mentioned at the start of this piece!
Are you going to be snapping these up for your games?
