Highgate Miniatures have a new set of vampires coming soon from the talented Mister Bickley. This pack consists of Acolyte Vampires, immortal companions if their Undead Masters and mistresses, chosen for their fine looks and beauty they have learned over the centuries to control the bloodlust and now savour the hunt and the kill..

Highgate Miniatures Lady

The four sculpts while being distinctly different have been rendered to match their creators, very much giving a feel of bloodlines and types of vampires that hunt and integrate themselves in society in different ways, very different from the feral look of the newly turned.

(Pictured above Bradley from the Pitt of Hell) Each of the miniatures is absolutely beautifully sculpted with a wealth of detail to set the scene of your Victorian bloodsucker calmly taking a toll on the tabletop.

Highgate Miniatures Seductress

It's always hard to pick a favourite from anything Matthew sculpts and this range is no different, which I find is always an excellent sign when buying miniatures. If forced though it would probably be one of these last two minis (see how I cleverly still didn't pick one?) The acolyte who tempts and seduces her victims, dying in her cold embrace, or the top hat wearing gentleman making his way through the foggy streets of old London town, only when the fog rolls back do we see the exsanguinated corpses that tell of his passing.

Highgate Miniatures Tophat

For a company that has yet to turn 1 year old, which they do on 14th Feb so happy valentines day, Highgate Miniatures have already succeeded in putting together an excellent range of packs for Gothic horror games. All of the miniatures are available from Oshiro Models and there is plenty more to come from them over the coming year. In time the range may expand to include Werewolves, Mummies and all things that go bump in the night.

A hidden gem that I'm glad I've stumbled across if you're interested in vampires, their victims and the hunters who pursue them then definitely make your way over and check them out.

I'm off to whittle some stakes and buy a string of garlic...no reason
