Upper Deck Introduce New Heroes For Legendary: Dark City

Upper Deck Entertainment are building on their success with Legendary, the Marvel Card Game, with a new expansion called Dark City and they have shown off the artwork for two of their upcoming heroes...
Cable...
Domino...
Above you can see various art work for both Cable and Domino, two gun wielding heroes from the Marvel universe. Both Cable and her have been linked on multiple occasions as being in a relationship. I wouldn't want to get in the way of a domestic disturbance between these two!
The Legendary Card Game is a pretty awesome card game which includes plenty of heroes and villains from the Marvel universe and it's good to see its expanding with some brilliant artwork to boot.
Have you played Legendary?

I love the art (hey, it’s Marvel) but am I correct in saying that a lot of the art is repeated on the cards? Something like a weak, medium and strong version of each card and they all share the same artwork? If that’s true then it seems kind of a shame although I imagine it’s simply a cost factor.
Also, don’t you hate it when you create your own super hero character and discover that you have unknowingly just made a duplicate of five others who are already established? 😀
You are right. I have watched the play through from Watch it Played! and it was a bit disheartening to see that some of the artwork was carried over from card to card, power to power. However the mechanics for the game are pretty damn solid and a lot of fun.
Maybe that will change with future versions of the game (if there are any) since they know the game is well received now.
