Games Workshop has dropped a new book for those diving into Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Warcry. Tome Of Champions 2021 will be up for pre-order this coming weekend for budding Fantasy skirmish wargamers.

The new book introduces various options for playing Open, Matched and Narrative/Campaign play in Warcry. The big thing, however, is the addition of rules for using your Warhammer Underworlds characters in the world of Warcry. Cross-compatibility!
This means that if you've got a few characters gathering dust, you can get them cleaned up and introduce them alongside the fighters for your particular faction. I do like the idea of Mollog's Mob stomping around looking for look.
In addition to the new book, we also have some new boxed Warcry Warbands...
Thunderstrike Stormcast Eternals Warband // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Warcry
Each of these has been designed so you simply dive in and use these rather than having to raid your collection. There are, of course, new options for the Thunderstrike Stormcast Eternals and the Kruleboyz as they are the main focus of the new edition.
Kruleboyz Warband // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Warcry
I like these as an option for people to dive in and play Warcry. It saves having to buy loads of different boxed sets just for one or two miniatures. It might not give you quite as much choice in the grand scheme of things but it gives you a good in.
Lumineth Realm-lords Warband // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Warcry
Those looking to play out an ancient rivalry might want to pick up the Lumineth Realm-Lords and have them try and curtail the ambitious of their darker siblings. I think it could be neat to see a clash between them and the Daughters Of Khaine.
Daughters Of Khaine Warband // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Warcry
The last of the warbands is a rather neat one and one that I reckon painters would love.
Slaanesh Sybarites Warband // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Warcry
I think people overlook just how awesome this range of miniatures is! They sort of popped out of the void and went unnoticed as a faction I think. They have a bunch of character and you could go mad with all sorts of shimmering paints.
So, some interesting (and perhaps delayed) releases for Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Warcry. Perhaps this is worth diving into?

Some interesting new figures in them boxes to get on with their.
Hmm.. Sybarites look like the line is continuing to move away from the demon spawn. Kinda sad if you ask me.
