Uncover Mysteries In Animal Adventures: Secrets Of Gullet Cove
March 18, 2021 by fcostin
After the incredibly successful Kickstarter fulfilled by Steamforged Games and Painting Polygons, the release of Secrets of Gullet Cove is just around the corner, coming 22nd March 2021.
Secrets Of Gullet Cove // Steamforged Games
If you are not aware of Animal Adventures, this RPG universe includes a range of dog and cats to embark on a new heroic story. This is alike any RPG adventure, however, instead of your usual suspects such as an elf and a wizard, furry friends will take the lead in this journey.
The new sourcebook will allow players to explore a new magical campaign compatible with 5E of Dungeons & Dragons ruleset, and it will take players to a new setting that is ideal for my dream world: Gullet Cove.
This seaside setting is home to goodies and baddies of all walks of life, including adorable cats and dogs to become your next heroes, and vicious villains like the Rat King and his minions.

Contained in the sourcebook, there is everything you need to get started. Including rules for creating your own character, a bestiary, a gazetteer, magic items and of course five adventures for you to get stuck into.
Along with the sourcebook, Dungeons & Dragon scale miniatures of the beloved furry friends will also be available for those who like adding minis to their RPG campaign. And as soon as I saw what looked like a labrador named Luna in a Druid's cloak with a staff - there was no going back for me!
Secrets Of Gullet Cove // Steamforged Games
There are lots of different choices of cats, dogs and villain miniatures available from Steamforged Games, including the Rat King arrogantly sitting upon the shoulders of his hypnotised minion.

I will be getting my hands on a few of these miniatures to paint up for sure, and will maybe start my first RPG journey into the mysterious town of Gullet Cove.
What do you think of this new RPG adventure?

I love the look of this for exploring RPGs with my children. We’ve been devouring Mice and Mystics under lockdown, and this looks like great next steps!
For sure! As much as I love my mysterious woodland fantasy creatures, it is brilliant to see new RPGs come out which kids can access too, great idea to do during lockdown too. Hope you and your kids have enjoyed Mice and Mystics. 🙂
What happened to the pictures? oO
Its a mystery
I backed thsi and also got the ctas they did and the minis are just super cute.
The cats looked awesome too! Be sure to let me know how they look when you get your hands on them!
Interesting figures for a good sounding game.
