Ulaf Peresvet Flies The Flag For Brother Vinni
May 27, 2015 by brennon
Brother Vinni have added another model to their range of 28mm Sci-Fi miniatures that would be great stand ins for that growing Imperial Guard army you have massing on your desk. See what you make of the banner wielding Ulaf Peresvet...
Fun With Flags
There's no doubt that Ulaf Peresvet fights for one of the regiments that is rather stuck out there in the icy wastes of some distant planet. If you were using him for Warhammer 40,000 then he'd be part of the Valhallan Ice Warriors for example.
He comes in a heroic pose (rocks everywhere) and has a rather nicely pre-detailed banner to take into battle. I love it when sculptors do this as it means you don't have to worry about freehand!
It's nice to see that Brother Vinni have worked in a lot of more historical aspects of the Soviet army into this Sci-Fi piece although I bet you could probably get away with using him as a soldier from our own history too.
What do you think?

I like this figure and the fact that the standard is optional so you can change the flag without cutting it up.
Hmm..I wouldn’t put him into my Bolt Action Red Army..
But if I had Valhallans, hell yes! Love the sculpt 🙂
Cheers
That is very good.
This looks great. I prefer this type of model over the sexualised women they do any day.
