TTCombat Tease Undead Egyptian Army For Kickstarter
July 18, 2019 by brennon
Continuing to develop their range of Fantasy miniatures, TTCombat are going to be coming to Kickstarter with their range of Undead Egyptians/Mummies soon. Folks got a sneaky look at the concept art for them this week.
The Halflings are going to be released for retail very soon and if that Kickstarter is anything to go by, we're going to be introduced to a rather fun range of models for the Ancient Undead too. Concept art so far has shown off a Champion, Musician and Standard Bearer for what will presumably be a larger unit.
As there are still folks who were rather upset over losing the Tomb Kings when Warhammer Fantasy Battles went the way of the dodo this seems like a good angle to take. Interesting undead armies are all the rage now as well so this should fill a gap in the market.
Their Halfling Kickstarter featured a big ol' Cockatrice being thrown into the mix so it will be interesting to see what monster pops up for this army. Maybe they'll work on a monstrous scarab beetle which has burst from the ruins beneath the sand?
What do you make of their idea to start work on a new collection of Undead Egyptians?

great looking drawings is a imhotep type commander coming in the future.
Yes please TTcombat, yes please
I would jump in to get some of those.
I could see these on a gaming table of ‘Weird Victorian era’ with British fighting mummies in Egypt.
I’ve been cutting back on Kickstarers but I’d buy into these if they make it to retail.
Nice! Looking forward to these
