TTCombat has been sharing more previews of Dropfleet Commander including a sneak peek into the Rulebook and some more ships! The release of the new edition isn't too far off now alongside a whole suite of new and reworked miniatures.

Dropfleet Commander Rulebook // TTCombat

The new rulebook is sixty-four pages long and contains all of your core rules, scenarios and more unique lore written by the legendary Dave Lewis himself. This is just a sneak peek inside the rulebook but it's good that it's coming together quickly after the Dropfleet Commander range went off sale.

The contents page will give you a good idea of what's in the rulebook and it's nice to see that plenty of space has been given over to the factions. The Bioficers make their big appearance in the new edition alongside plenty of updated releases for the other factions.

One of the new miniatures for the aforementioned Bioficers is the Vertex Corvette.

The Vertex Corvette might be small but it's powerful. It comes with a reliable hull and a decent gun. The low points cost also means that you could add quite a few of these into the mix, picking at your enemy and slowly whittling them down.

Going from small to big, we also have the Cavern Fleet Carrier.

Armed with scythes aplenty and drones by the bucketful, this ship is going to be a handful for you to deal with. I still like the "floating gun" style of the Bioficers where it looks like everything has been designed to make it a deadly killing machine. The glowing blue core of the ship helps to break up the red and black that you see as part of the fleet as well.

Last but not least, we have the Bruges Cruiser for the UCMF.

With so many threats on the horizon, this is a new miniature for the UCMF. The Bruges Cruiser comes with cobra heavy lasers and taipan laser turrets and is something of a floating fortress. I could see this putting a whole bunch of holes in Bioficer ships that dare to come within range.

The Dropfleet Commander previews are coming thick and fast and it shouldn't be long before you see the new edition on tabletops.
