A range of the small folk are now available over on Kickstarter from the team at TTCombat. You'll soon have enough fellows to form a skirmishing warband or perhaps a full-on army!

Halflings & Fantasy Friends - TTCombat

The range is focused on producing a collection of characters, units and even a big monster which can be used for you to play out games on the tabletop. There is a nice feeling of Oldhammer about the designs and the forces that might have marched out of The Moot in Warhammer Fantasy Battles.

Halfling Leader - TTCombat

I love that as well as seeing some very typical Halflings, cooks and the like, we're also seeing some more grizzled fighters like this chap above leading the way.

Halfling Unit - TTCombat

All of the miniatures here are 3D sculpted and then will be cast in resin, ready for you to use on the tabletop. Whilst you'll see that they have been designed for ranking up for more traditional war games they can also be based on circular bases if you prefer some skirmishing.

You can snag all of the range as part of a larger pledge.

Army Pledge - TTCombat

Here you can see a whole bunch of different heroes, plenty of units, some more monstrous creatures like Treemen and also the awesome Cockatrice which is the signature beast as part of this army.

Cockatrice - TTCombat

I think that would be one of the most fascinating pieces within this collection to paint up, especially when you got into the vibrant colours. Whilst there is obviously the Warhammer Fantasy vibe going on here I think these would be equally at home as part of a game like Kings Of War or Warlords Of Erehwon from Warlord Games which is coming out in the future.

Who knows, maybe Oathmark will have Halflings as part of the mix when that gets released? Make sure to also check out the video interview we did with TTCombat last week all about this particular project...

They are very excited about this, as is Sam!

What do you make of the range?
