Trolls & Spiders Hunt Your Heroes In The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms

Some more new releases from Modiphius this month as they have unleashed a couple of new monster packs to their 32mm Fantasy skirmish wargame set in the world of Tamriel. The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms is now home to Trolls and Giant Frostbite Spiders!
Trolls // The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms
Trolls are deadly creatures, even for the Dragonborn and his companions. If you've played Skyrim then you might remember that Troll storming down the steps at the Throat Of The World, ready to claw your face off! They are able to regenerate from even the most serious damage and then rend the flesh from your bones!
The set comes with two Trolls, each with scenic bases. The miniatures that you're seeing here are all in resin meaning that they should have captured all the detail from the initial designs.
The next of the miniature sets with a particularly monstrous edge is the Giant Frostbite Spider!

This is another of the massive monsters that you'll run into when playing the early stages of the video game. So, it's nice to see them popping up so you can recreate those adventures on the tabletop. I do like that they have included some poor unfortunate adventurer on the base who has been turned into a packed lunch for the spider!
Some great-looking new miniatures for the range. It seems that the sculpting team at Modiphius has done a solid job of updating their work on poses and detail with the Call To Arms collection. Great stuff, especially with the game having so many different avenues to play.
Are you tempted to snap these up?

The triclop trolls are very cool. Their hairy stomachs makes me feel that I am in some distant way related to them!
Spuder!
Very nice beasties that spider man does that looks amazing.
Those look good.
What I want to know is when they’re going to release the miniatures for the bear and the wolves we can clearly see in photographs in the rulebook. Those two wolves and the bear still haven’t been released yet.
