Slunk The Swamp Serpent #1 - Trish Carden

Here's some of the background on Slunk and how he might fit into your collections...

"Slunk the Swamp Serpent is a sly and sneaky creature. He lies in wait just under the surface of the Grimpenmire swamp waiting for a shadow to fall across the murky water. Any unwitting soul who casts such a shadow will suddenly be wrapped in a long scaly body and dragged to the fetid depths of Slunk’s lair to be devoured at the serpent’s leisure."

As the master of monsters, Trish has done a superb job of getting across the character in the sculpt. You get the sense that Slunk is a swamp-based creature with all the little embellishments that you can see across his knobbly hide.

I think you'd have fun painting the miniature too, especially if you went for some interesting basing for the various sections of Slunk. You could create some murky water on the bases with the body and head bursting forth. I also think that single-eye would be great when painted in a pale colour too. Perhaps it could represent that Slunk spends a lot of time in darkness.

Will you be snapping up Slunk?
