Trish Carden has been sculpting up some brand-new miniatures for her HarrowHyrst range. These new Dryads will be coming to the Footsore Miniatures & Games collection in 2025 and should slot in nicely with the rest of her wilderness-dwelling beasties!

Dryads #1 - Trish Carden

These Dryads will be the first of the HarrowHyrst releases of the new year and there will be six of them in total. Each of the figures stands around 45mm to the tops of their heads so they are going to be a fearsome sight when stood up against puny human interlopers who wandered into their domain!

Dryads #2 - Trish Carden

The Dryads have a fantastic "evil sprite" vibe to them which works nicely with the kind of creepy Fae fairytales that get told about these forest-dwelling guardians. The poses are also suitably "uncanny" in their vibe and you get the sense that when they move, they are rather unsettling to look at!

They should be a lot of fun to paint up and should do so fairly easily too. A good drybrush should bring out the woody texture and then you can go in with some bright colours and paint up the bits of fungi growing from their bodies.

I expect to see these Dryads in a mix of different skirmish games in the new year. They would also work very, very well with a lot of the Oldhammer Wood Elves miniatures that were released for Warhammer Fantasy Battle back in the day.

What do you make of these creepy Dryads from Trish Carden?
