A Trio Of Forge World Hired Guns Joins The Scum of Necromunda
February 10, 2018 by dracs
Necromunda is full of the downtrodden, the degenerate, the outcasts of society. But just because they're Scum doesn't mean they're not good with a gun, as shown by Forge World's trio of Hired Guns.
This set of three figures brings two Scummers, masterless Hive Scum who will fight for anyone with enough coin.
Don't discount them just because they are scum. These are men who have had to survive on the edges of Hiv society and as such their fighting skill is to be prized.
In this pack, they are joined by the Bounty Hunter Yolanda Scorn.
Bounty Hunters are among the most dangerous denizens of Necromunda and you can see from Yolanda's sculpt that she is not to be trifled with. With a cybernetic hand and a veil covering her scars of exile from House Escher, this is a woman who has been through the wars and come out the other side more deadly than ever.
Do you think it is worth hiring these Hired Guns for your gang?

I quite like this scum , particularly the bottom two after spending last weekend assembling and painting Goliaths ( all inspired by the new Squat…. *reads last sentence again and hugs self … *swoon ……. ) so having a bit of a Necromunda epiphany at the moment
I glanced at the first pic and thought that old beardy guy was a 40k SKAVEN! 😮
I remember when the Hrud were 40k Skaven … apparently they aren’t anymore … 🙁
Forge World is knocking it out of the park with the Necromunda figures at the moment. I love 40k most when it’s grimy and characterful, and there’s so much unexplored potential in the necromunda setting.
These are lovely models and would look really good in games like Inquisitor 28, Dark Heresy RPG as well as Necromunda.
I didn’t want these figures till I saw them painted.
The Forgeworld beastman figure is giant, detailed and solidly build. So I have high expectations for these 🙂
Yolanda? wait a second, isn’t she the former spyre noble turned outlaw gang leader, Outlands Annie, ultimately turned bounty hunter and occasional “associate” of one Kal Jerico!
Is this foreshadowing a future release for Necromunda? 😀
Fantastic figure’s the revolver on the second guy looks strange.
yeah, if the cylinder is that tiny, there is no way it needs a barrel that large!
I like em enough to pre-order them
First pics I’ve seen of the Squat –

I like the girl. The rest you can keep, especially for the price.
Wonderful models but they’re each missing an “x-factor” to draw your attention to them and make them worthy add-ons. But £20 for 3 high-quality resin models is a steal.
And then they went and failed with the beastman bounty hunter @ 18£ .. it simply isnt an 18£ miniature and with the competition available these days it should be apparent to most gamers.
That is really weird! £20 for three vs £18 for one… even ignoring whether or not the beastman is a £18 model that doesnt make a lot of sense. If I remember rightly, there isn’t much of a size difference between the models!
Seeing as its nothing special a conversion would be really easy to pull off .. and whats with the static poses in general from gw and fw?
I’m not sure where you’re looking but the majority of GWs models are dynamically posed. It’s been mentioned a lot because it has divided opinion. Dynamic poses look better out the box but are more difficult to convert using component swaps. These slightly more static poses are a bit of a rarity.
Uhm no
They really are. You need only look at GW’s new releases for the last few years to see their shift to dynamic posing, especially on character models.
Well ill admit the stormcast cavalry looks really good, both as models and how they are posed.
Those 3 look really nice.
i like Yolanda, who looks more than a little like a certain STAR WARS Attack of the Clones bounty hunter. but the second guys my favourite, great sculpt. forge world are doing a fine job with these bounty hunters.
