Triguard Miniatures Preview Upcoming Medieval Scots
November 25, 2021 by brennon
Triguard Miniatures are going to be adding to their collection of 40mm Medieval miniatures with some Scots in the near future. See what you make of this neat preview of the miniatures they have in the works.
Medieval Scots // Triguard Miniatures
The collection is going to be coming to Kickstarter in the near future as whilst the monster moulds have been designed, the production moulds need to be worked on. The collection will include the miniatures you see here with six spearmen getting ready to brace against a cavalry charge and a knight with axe raised in the air. Could that be your William Wallace?
You will also be able to get three casualty miniatures, a knight casualty and a wounded horse. Pretty neat! It is worth noting that Triguard Miniatures has a fairly well-rounded Medieval collection for you to dive into HERE. There are Welsh, English, Knights, Outlaws and more.
The idea is that they will also be looking ahead to add more Scots, Islemen and Irish into the mix too. A good option for those looking to add alternative miniatures into their collection.
Are you going to be picking these up via Kickstarter?

Hooold hooooold now?
Great looking figure.
Pointy sticks! The raised arm with the axe looks weird from this angle… or is it the axehead facing “the wrong way”? I don’t know…
Pointy Sticks FTW!
Looks like he’s holding the axe back to front?
and his hand is facing outwards… the thumb points forward. It’s an awkward way to hold your arm.
it’s no less awkward than holding it above your head with the hand facing inwards, that’s the beauty of the rotator cuff in your wrist. you can try it at home yourself raise your arm and turn your hand, see?
I think they goofed looks like the back of his hand an the thumbs on the wrong side Gerry? but will see clearer painted up.
nope you can see the haft of the axe, normal hand
You can point out the hand in the unboxing then Gerry?
There nice
I quite like his pose he looks like he is signalling or at least drawing attention to himself as to his position in the line to his own men.
They look nice. Suitable for Scots around the time of the Barons’ War I assume?
@brennon Are you sure these aren’t 40mm figures?
Oops yes – I went into automatic “this is 28mm” mode.
