The Trident Realm Rise From The Deep For Mantic’s Armada
February 14, 2023 by brennon
Mantic Games has been previewing the newest faction coming to the oceans of Pannithor. The various fleets of Armada are going to be peering down into the depths and hoping that they won't get dragged below the surface by the Trident Realm.
Trident Realm - Starter Fleet // Armada
They are going to be conquering the seas of Pannithor with a host of creatures that they have tamed, allowing them to strike at their foes in a unique way. The Starter Fleet comes with all of the bits and pieces that you need to get going with the Trident Realm and that means three resin miniatures for the Giant Squid, Giant Turtle and Kucker Chariot.
If you are already excited by the idea of playing as the ocean-dwelling creatures of the Trident Realm then you might also want to pick up the Booster Fleet.

This set comes with a bunch of additional monsters from the deep. You've got the Gun Turtle alongside one of my favourites from the collection, the Kyr-Angler Fish. I love that big tooth-filled maw! You've then got two smaller Wyrm Drawn Sloops which are going to be powering through the water, ready to bring down their foes with boarding actions.
That's not all! You can also pick up the Tidal Terrors pack which comes with two of these creatures which have been drawn to the fighting.
Trident Realm - Tidal Terrors // Armada
You've got a snippy creature that will clearly snap boats in two and a terrifying elemental-type creature that is going to drag your boats into the deep. Imagine that big, monstrous face looming above you when you're rushing to man the cannons!
Last but not least, we have the rare Leviathan that is able to go fin-to-fin with some of the biggest ships out there.
Trident Realm - Leviathan // Armada
You could just imagine this terrifying creature hoving into view and shattering enemy ships into splinters with its bulk. Maybe some of the smaller ships out there could end up just being swallowed whole in that massive maw!?
Finally, there is also this bonus set which will be handy for you to snap up if you don't want to get the big starter set for Armada.
Essentials Set // Armada
You can simply get one of the Starter Fleets and then dive in with this Essentials Set. You and a friend could pick up this alongside two Starter Fleets and away you go. The Trident Realm are certainly the most unique set of miniatures for Armada yet and I love that they went down the route of making them terrifying sea creatures!
Will you be snapping up these Armada releases soon?

The “Essentials Set” could use some graphical overhaul. though I like companies being honest about what is in the box, this one looks a bit like an Aprils fools joke. Maybe instead of using the same texture and colour in the background maybe on this one box do it a bit different?
and ruin the consistency of the look across my boxes? No thank you sir, I say good day to you!
One box to ruin them all! One box to blind them and in confusion bind them!
Agree with Gerry, that sea pattern is literally and graphically the background to the game. That colour is recognisably Armada.
Ooh nice their be monster’s.
Those are some nice looking sea monsters.
There’s always a bigger fish
