The Red Brigade Kickstarter from Westfalia Miniatures is now live so you can dive in and get some awesome new miniatures inspired by Mike Franchina's amazing artwork for the indie hit Trench Crusade. If you went in on the original Trench Crusade Kickstarter and wanted more, The Red Brigade might tickle your fancy.

The sculpting on this range comes from Mark Maurel who designed the initial concept miniature. The idea then exploded from there and now we have The Red Brigade, a glorious new set of miniatures for you to use in Trench Crusade.

This is an official range of miniatures for Trench Crusade with at least, forty of them to choose from! There are both single-piece sculpts and multi-part miniatures which can be used to build warbands for The Red Brigade and New Antioch warbands.

There are four different tiers for you to choose from when it comes to the campaign. You can go all-in on either the Digital or Physical side of things giving you access to all unlocked stretch goals. The digital pledge can be printed at home whilst the physical one will be printed for you and sent by Strange Plastic from over in the US.

There are also two custom pledge options that you can choose from for both Digital and Physical miniatures where you pick and choose during the pledge manager stage of the campaign. This could be good if you're simply looking for one or two miniatures from this collection to enhance your warband.

There are lots and lots of different options within the set that cover both your characters and your regular Red Brigade troops in games of Trench Crusade. All of these have been designed to suit the aesthetic of Trench Crusade but with Westfalia's unique spin based on the lore behind The Red Brigade.

There are some lovely weapon choices within the set including those fantastic swords and halberds which sit nicely alongside the World War I-themed weapons like rifles and pistols. The sallet helm also features prominently throughout The Red Brigade which is the correct choice!

The Stretch Goals for the campaign then unlock additional character options and more for The Red Brigade to give you more to play with when it comes to customising your warband.

I really like the bonus Heretic miniatures that you get as part of the Stretch Goals and the various named characters. Lawrence Of New Antioch is an inspired miniature and I feel like I need him even though I've not gone for New Antioch in Trench Crusade.

Add-ons include more choices for you to make when it comes to troops but you can also get their bikers, the Crimson Angels, if you'd like to throw something a bit different into the mix. A fantastic range that is sure to get a lot of Trench Crusade fans excited.

The Trench Zine

If you want to find out more about The Red Brigade and how they fit into the world of Trench Crusade, you can download (for free) The Trench zine which is available as part of the campaign.
