Travel & Trade On Alien Planets With New Colony 87 Sci-Fi Miniatures

The Colony 87 range from Crooked Dice has expanded with a few beasts of burden from alien worlds. If you're looking to get stuck into a great 28mm Sci-Fi collection then maybe these new Sandtreaders could be a grand start.
Sandtreader // Crooked Dice
The Tul-Hruk are lumbering and hardy reptiles that many of the folks of Cerberus use for day-to-day heavy lifting. They are colloquially known as Sandtreaders and will often find themselves being used as beasts of burden and mounts by the peoples of Colony 87.
You can see that in full effect with a number of the Sandtreader miniatures which have been used as Pack Animals...

...and Water Carriers. It pays to bring some hardy native beasts with you when you're exploring the planet and setting out into the vast unknown. I am getting some cool Arabian adventure vibes "but in space" from these creatures and I could see them being the focus of a bandit attack by raiders and pirates in Colony 87.

If you're looking for a very important person to be the focal point of your games then you've got the Trader here. He could be at the centre of the trading caravan and therefore the character that you need to protect when the bandits come knocking!

The wider Colony 87 range is well worth having a look at if you're in the mood to snap up a great Sci-Fi range with a focused aesthetic. You could of course then dive into this world using Crooked Dice's 7TV and tell some fun tales worthy of retro TV shows.

Great looking alien pack animal’s for gamers.
I have a few of the great Colony 87 minis from their second KS that i use for Stargrave, i might get the Sandtreader without anything on it, could be usefull in many situations
