Thunderbirds are Go Gets its First Teaser Trailer!
December 29, 2014 by dracs
The modern adaptation of the classic Gerry Anderson TV show Thunderbirds has had its first teaser trailer appear online. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Thunderbirds are Go!
The teaser sees the viewer looking down upon the earth as a mayday cry for help sounds out over the airways. The call goes unanswered as the perspective pulls back to reveal the Earth orbiting space station of Thunderbird 5.
So far, this isn't much to go on, but there is a real sense of desperation to the trailer. After all, this is International Rescue. Why would they not answer a cry for help? As a longtime Thunderbirds fan this has me intrigued, and given the guys behind this from Weta Workshop and the cast involved I am hopeful for a faithful recreation of the original.
Are you looking forward to seeing more of this ITV Studios remake?

Sorry Sam lol.
The entire series of Starfleet used to be on Netflix
It’s on Amazon streaming at the moment for free via Prime but would love to see it remade.
Thunderbirds are go, ing private the computer will be checking the insurance cover of the caller before answering?
Are they going to be marionettes or CGI? I hope the former.
same here, always loved the use of puppets, nothing like that being made these days either.
From ITV
“While the original series, launched by the late Gerry Anderson in 1965, featured puppets the new version will mix CGI animation with live action sets.”
We shall see…
Are they now going to put the strings in with CGI special effects ??? lol
