Trish Carden has now released three new miniatures for the HarrowHyrst collection. You can scoop up the 28mm Harridans for use in your Fantasy games as foes for you to face in the swamps or unsettling allies!

Caterwaul - Trish Carden

Caterwaul // Trish Carden

All of the miniatures feature Trish's trademark care and attention that you'd expect and they are packed with little details. The detailed work on the skin and all of the little accessories sells the miniatures and means that they should be a joy to paint!

What's also nice is that Trish has written a little bit of background lore for each of the Harridans so you can use this to link them into your games.

"Caterwaul is the eldest of the three. Sly and scheming she always has her knife ready to flay the skin of a corpse and sew it together to make the fetid and blood smeared clothing that the Harridans favour. If the body is still alive, well, no matter…the howls of agony are music to her tainted ears."

Caterwaul sounds like an absolutely lovely lady. Have no fear, there are two more Harridans for you to add to the mix! You've also got Wormling and Fleshing.

Wormling - Trish Carden

Wormling // Trish Carden

"Wormling carries no weapons, she gathers spines and skulls as trophies and piles them in the corners of their crude wooden hut that lies on the edge of the Grimpenmire swamp. The best of the skulls she takes to Vengesour the Treeman, walking around him and muttering her foul incantations as she places them amongst his roots and branches."

Fleshing - Trish Carden

Fleshing // Trish Carden

"Fleshing and her sharp little axe lie in wait in darkened hollows. Her bent and stunted body can hide in the most unlikely nooks and crannies, waiting for an unwitting traveller to pass by. They’ll never see her as she quietly emerges behind them and turns them into fodder for Caterwaul’s knife."

I could imagine these ladies slinking their way out of the swamps and bogs to hunt their foes or perhaps propose to them an interesting bargain for their pitiful lives! I think these would be perfect miniatures for a themed army or perhaps for use in skirmish games where you need "boss" monsters to go up against.

You could use them for some roleplaying games as well. Maybe your heroes need to deal with each of the three Harridans in turn, releasing a curse from a nearby village. However, if you're not quick enough or if you don't slay them outright, they might find themselves joining together to make sure you don't get out of the swamps!

Are you going to be picking up this set of miniatures from Trish Carden and Footsore Miniatures & Games?
