What Are Your Thoughts On Lion Tower’s Stalwart Paladin?
May 23, 2017 by brennon
Lion Tower Miniatures completed their awesome Fantasy Adventurers Kickstarter a few months ago and The Hairy Painter is getting ready to paint up one of their heroes. Here we have the Paladin getting ready to defend his fellow adventurers...
The Hairy Painter and Lion Tower are actually looking for feedback on this particular model. One particular aspect they are unsure on is the sword. Do you prefer this hefty piece of metal or would you like this thinner design...
It's interesting to see the variation and whilst the thinner sword is still nice I like the idea that this Paladin found some ancient mighty relic used by a monstrous beast and is now using it against the forces of evil.
Personally, I like the big World Of Warcraft style sword and the runic designs across the middle of the blade look great. As a Paladin, he would probably look good with a big hammer too.
You can follow the links above to his Facebook Page and Lion Tower's HERE and drop your thoughts there.
What do you think?

Very nice.
That’s quite some sword. Is he a part-time cricket player? Or just overcompensating?
he would look great in final fantasy.
I think I prefer thinner….. A sword that you have to be super human to wield for more than a minute doesn’t really fit with the rest of the mini
Sword? Looks more as if he just looted a fire giant’s body. You don’t see dwarfs lifting huge slabs of metal except at the forge, why should anything vaguely human be expected to do so. I blame anime for promoting this very physically improbable to lift look for weapons, except by a cyborg or android. It may help with the casting and strength of the miniature but totally ruins any sense of immersion to me. Granted, true scale would have toothpick thin rifles on figures, but somewhere in between these boiler plates and that would be nicer visually.
With that size of sword his name must be Cloud.
God luck lifting that big sword, let alone hacking someone to death with it.
Holy foot-on-rock. That’s not a sword, that’s an oversized cricket paddle.
