The Kingdom And New Cards For Mantic’s The Walking Dead
June 16, 2021 by brennon
Mantic Games are growing their range of miniatures for The Walking Dead: All Out War. The Kingdom are riding in soon atop their horses and they ain't taking no prisoners.
The Kingdom // The Walking Dead: All Out War
This new faction is different, as mentioned above, in that most of their characters come mounted. This is going to give them some big advantages when it comes to moving around the tabletop but I'm sure there will be some downsides to them too. A man on a horse is a big target...

There are some great looking miniatures for this collection already and pre-orders for the full range will be going live today over on their webstore. Make sure to check out the full release HERE and let us know what you think of The Kingdom.
Teamwork & Event Cards
As well as The Kingdom, we also have some new Teamwork & Event Cards that can change up how you play your games of The Walking Dead.

It might be a bit dog eat dog out there in the world of The Walking Dead but if you do work together you'll end up getting some benefits. If you pick specific miniatures then you'll gain a bonus! I always like stuff like this as it helps to theme a gang or faction and encourages you to pick up miniatures you might not have considered.
You've also got new Events that can trigger during the game and put all manner of spanners into the works!
Are you tempted by some new pre-orders for The Walking Dead?

I was tempted by this back when it came out – as I really enjoyed the Comic – but I think the tv show just killed my interest with its boring overlong story lines!
Also I wanted the Governor to look like Tom Savini and not David Morrisey – although Morrissey in the role might have been good.
Still one of the best solo/co-op games out there. Easy to learn, quick to play, small footprint, many miniatures ready right out of the box (except the recent resin waves.) And Mantic are having a 50% off sale right now (began this morning June 16) on the first 5 waves.
Good to know, though it seems the core starter set is not on sale. Is the Here’s Negan set a good entry point?
you get:
– 10 walkers
– 1 faction (6 saviors)(I think you can get the charchtercards free digital from Mantic)
– 1 set of dice
– a different set of rules (heres negan board game with tiles)
you also have to get:
– the rule book
– event-, supply- and equipmentcards!!!!! (only coregame and a bit prelude to woodburry)
– 1 more faction if you want pvp
– terrain
– ruler
so meh the cards are kinda important
so yes for 20-30$ it is kinda nice to have or a good booster. the game itself is also ok. but you can not play All Out War / Call to Arms
Great looking figures.
Even though I don’t like the Walking Dead, either the comic or the TV show, these are some very nice miniatures, and their post-apocalyptic knight look is really cool! These could make good additions to Caesar’s Legion in the Modiphius Fallout game.
Really nice looking figures, very distinctive.
