Every year since 2014 the team at Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy have run a survey to see what the state of our hobby is like. Are there shifts in gamers, more people playing historical games? Fewer people using metal models? All these questions and more appear in the Great Wargaming Survey.

The Great Wargaming Survey // Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy

Apart from rolling dice, there seem to be few things wargamers like to do better than discuss the state of their hobby. The purpose of this survey is to answer some of those questions and publish the answers for all to see.

As always to encourage people there are a few little sweeteners put together by W,S&S first up you can get a €5 voucher for Karwansaray Publishers, which apart from producing W,S&S also have a host of excellent historic publications and books.

If you leave your email you will be entered into a raffle to win a host of prizes from across the industry with prizes from the Lardies, Perrys, Wargames Atlantic, and many more.

As a bonus, this year they are offering a selection of articles of Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy.

Filling out the survey shouldn't take more than about 10 minutes, and we're taking responses until August 31st, 2021. Please tell all your wargaming friends to come to take it too! It's not a big ask and the details that come from it are fascinating, people often wonder what the state of our community is so if you go ahead join in you can help answer that question.
