Olmec Games' The Drowned Earth is going to be coming to Kickstarter soon with a new campaign that takes your factions Into The Wilds! You can check out the Kickstarter Landing Page and watch out for the launch of the campaign on 28th June!

The campaign is going to last for ten days only and will feature some interesting new miniatures for the different factions of The Drowned Earth. You can check out some of the teasers down below of these huge stompy guys who are going to be lumbering into the ruins of the world that was.

Yes, that is a turtle with a sail on his back and a bunch of cannons. That seems like the perfect place for a pirate to call home. You've also got some awesome dinosaurs to add to the equation as well as a nifty vehicle. I do like the crocodile who goes ever forward in search of that next meal.
Bertha & Jaxx // The Drowned Earth
These larger-than-life friends will come with buffs and special abilities for your faction of choice as well as a new special resource. I am fascinated to see what Olmec Games do with these creatures and vehicles and how they fit into games. I imagine we're going to get a set of ace new scenarios to use them with as well.
Keep an eye out for that campaign on 28th June and let us know if this is going to be the impetus to get you diving back into The Drowned Earth.
Do you have a favourite "big guy" so far from the previews?

Super cool concept, I hope this isn’t just STL.
The turtle is amazing! Building a water table for this would be a lot of fun, and totally different. Imagine having some tops of buildings poking out of the submerged earth…
That would make a amazing tabel. It would be cool to have small boats between the structures and around the turtle.
I mean that’s how a lot of Drowned Earth boards tend to look anyway – submerged ruins or islands popping out of the risen waters…..
