Clash Underwater With Rules For Frostgrave & Ghost Archipelago
June 24, 2020 by brennon
Joseph McCullough, author and creator of Osprey Games' Frostgrave and Ghost Archipelago has designed a few quick and easy rules for those who want to take their adventures underwater! You can have a read of them over on his blog, The Renaissance Troll, right now.
Frostgrave // Underwater Adventures
The rules don't specifically talk about why or how you're able to suddenly dive underwater but there are a few tweaks here and there for aquatic or amphibious characters in your warband. The rules here are all about having a bit of fun and exploring environments that you might not normally be able to.
You'll find rules in there for swimming about, how combat and shooting work, casting spells and most importantly, running away with the treasure! This could be used for diving into the frigid lakes around the ruins of Felstad or murky sewers beneath the city. Or, if you're heading off to the sunny Ghost Archipelago then it could be used for swimming around the numerous wrecks and ruins that are dotted about the islands.

The rules are there to be tinkered with and played around with at your leisure. Perhaps you have a bit of feedback for McCullough? If you do, I'm sure he'd be happy to comment on it over on his blog. Maybe you could include these rules in your next game and see how they work when you include them in your games.

Of the two I’d definitely to adventure underwater in the Ghost Archipelago. Brr!
Nice scenery.
