Fight Alongside Test Of Honour’s Ikko Rebel Bundle
October 20, 2020 by brennon
Grey For Now Games has introduced a new bundle for those playing Test Of Honour. If you're looking to play a different way then you can now pick up the 28mm Ikko Rebel Bundle, all of whom follow a rather charismatic leader.
Rennyo // Test Of Honour
The leader of this group is the character of Rennyo who cannot make attacks. Being a pacifist he doesn't harm others but he can provide huge bonuses to all of those who follow him. As well as using him as Rennyo you can also use him as a standard Ikko Preacher.
You can also get a selection of Ikko peasants who are armed with an array of different weapons.
Ikko Rebel Mob // Test Of Honour
These rebels are armed with katanas, spears and more. Whilst they might not be the most competent warriors they can use their Oppressed Masses trait to make numbers count as they hunt down those of the Samurai class.
Ikko Rebel Spearmen // Test Of Honour
If you're interested in how these Ikko Rebels fit into the wider historical context of Test Of Honour then Grey For Now Games has detailed that as you'll see here...
"The Ikko-ikki were a rebellious group motivated by religious doctrine. They consisted of peasants, merchants, monks and even low-ranking samurai who all followed a militant sect of Buddhism led by a charismatic priest called Rennyo. In 1486 the Ikko-ikki staged a violent uprising in Kaga province, overthrowing the governor and taking control for themselves – the first time in Japanese history that commoners had ruled a province. The movement had thousands of dedicated followers – fanatical Sohei warrior monks as well as simple peasant farmers seeking an escape from their lives of toil and oppression."
Pre-orders are now available for this set with the released set for Late October. I am always impressed with the offerings that Grey For Now bring to the tabletop for Test Of Honour and it looks like a really good game to dive into and explore.

I think it would be fascinating to paint and play plus you'd also be able to delve into creating some fascinating terrain too. If you're a player of Test Of Honour then I'd love to hear your thoughts on the game in the comments down below.
Should more people be giving this game a go?

Those look really nice. They have honor.
Certainly helps to match the name of the game with their attitude.
Very nice indeed.
I own a lot of their range and these are beautiful sculpts and pristine casts. They have really nice volumes and arent cluttered with detail. Very good designs. Gotta catch ´em all.
