Help Test Minefield Games’ Military History: Medieval Rules Set
June 11, 2015 by brennon
Minefield Games have opened up their Military History: Medieval set of rules for testing and you can download it HERE. You get to play around with the basic rules and some of the armies including the Teutonic Order, Polish Kingdom and the French...
Once you've given those different factions a go you can look forward to some more on the horizon with England, the Kalmar Union, Russia and Scotland coming soon.
The system itself is built for 20mm or 28mm soldiers and enables you to play out battles from the Early Middle Ages all the way up to the 15th Century. Key parts of the rules they would love to test include the uses of basic units, the way commanders interact and also their use of skills.
Give it a go and let us know what you think!

Yikes… 53 meg file. Please let us know. I’m sure we’re all curious, but I just don’t trust a file that big.
The file is big because there is a lot of graphic examples, and JPG how it will eventually look like a free rulebook. The ZIP file is shortened manual , XLS file with the skills of heroes, commanders and items, the three armies (the Teutonic Knights, Kingdom of Poland, Kingdom of France) and basic units. There is also the errata with suggestions and information for testers. The next four armies are in preparation and will be released soon for download.
