Watchful I Studio’s Terracotta Army Project Previewed

Watchful I Studio have put together a few previews showing off the development of their Terracotta Army which is a project coming to fruition!
While you may say that to make this army you'd simply take Chinese Soldiers from any other range and paint them as stone I think you have to get the right 'look' to the models as you can see here with their basic infantry.
If this style has your attention then you can see more of their growing army HERE.
Of course, someone needs to raise this ancient army from the ground to fight once more and that's the job of the Necromancer...
With a flame in hand and a more martial look to him I wouldn't discount him as a crotchety old fool who can be battered about when his undead have been sent packing.
Finally, we got a look ahead to one of their feature units in the army with the Terracotta Palace Guard.
They've taken some of the designs present in the larger statues found around China and built it into the mount for this warrior. I'd be tempted to paint up the soldier riding it in the terracotta scheme but the lion/beast itself in a wonderful jade as a nice contrast.
What do you think of their work?

Have been looking at these as I have a thing for Chinese Armies (mainly Three Kingdoms, for which these would possibly be too early). Postage from the good all U.S. of A. is what keeps stopping me – along with all the other shiny out there
Wow! Those look great.
would make a great golem army.
don’t know why we don’t get more ancient Chinese miniatures.
the sword saints of old practiced on holy mountains long before the samurai learned of the way.
the land of the dragon is the home of the masters of antiquity. they cut the very nature of reality it’s self with the melodious thunder of a single stroke.
when a jedi ignites a lightsaber you are touched by the echo of the old masters of the way.
I’m glad I’ve backed their KS back then, the Terracotta Army figures are splendid!
I think this might make an interesting IHMN Company, serving under the reincarnated form of the First Emperor.
