Medbury Miniatures create some absolutely stunning 3D Printable miniatures across the genres of Fantasy and History in 28mm scale. They have also taken to producing some of their range in metal too over on their webstore. Things are going to ramp up further though with their upcoming The Tale Of Beowulf Kickstarter!
The Tales Of Beowulf // Medbury Miniatures
As you might have guessed from the image above, the Kickstarter is aiming to produce a range of 28mm Vendel Era miniatures for use in your skirmish wargames, larger scale battles and of course some roleplaying adventures too if you prefer. The Vendel period falls between the Migration and the Viking Age and is the time of Beowulf, Geats, Danes and early raiders from Scandinavia making their way across the seas.

This means that the range is going to be perfect for those looking to play games like SAGA where myth and legend blend with historical records and offer up plenty of fascinating chances to play out various adventures on the tabletop. You could use these miniatures to represent the warriors that Beowulf fought alongside during his exploits or maybe the house of Hrothgar who are going to war with their various neighbours.

From what we've seen so far, the miniatures are looking absolutely gorgeous and this is a prime time for you to be getting your hands on these if you don't have a 3D Printer. Much of their Vendel range is already available for you to have a look at over on MyMiniFactory. That means you could 3D print some bits and pieces to slot in nicely with the metal miniatures or just use it as a way of previewing what will be dropping as part of the Kickstarter in metal.
Make sure to watch out for the campaign in the very near future!

Those pictures look like someone took photos of an old CRT TV XD For some odd reason it does make it more interesting to me
