Tale Of War Unleash Kar Andros The Predator
October 29, 2015 by brennon
Tale Of War have a new model for you that you can grab via email and very soon over on their webstore. Kar Andros The Predator is a deadly alien warrior shown leaping forward to deliver the deathblow to some hapless victim on the battlefield...
I could see this 30mm model being a fantastic new Autarch for your Eldar in Warhammer 40,000. He looks like he has a little of the Striking Scorpion about him if you wanted to tie him into the Aspect Warriors. The helmet also adds to that arachnid feeling.
While that is how I'd fit him into an existing game world I'm sure there are a massive variety of different armies he would work with. I do really like the stance and for once I don't mind the 'foot on rock syndrome' since he actually looks like he's using it to launch an attack.
What do you make of him?

Looks great and yes he looks like a Striking Scorpion and because of that i will buy him.
photo is too dark to see a thing well most of the detail
Nothing about this model look remotely Predator. It’s a striking scorpion for sure.
“He looks like he has a little of the Striking Scorpion about him if you wanted to tie him into the Aspect Warriors. The helmet also adds to that arachnid feeling”
And he’s called, essentially, Karandras.
That figure is awesome sauce, and the paint job sublime.
This is a vastly improved version of an existing GW model; an old and typically over the top model.

Seriously, look at the head on that thing.
The tale of war version on the other hand, looks like it has been designed with the same level of depth and detail as the Forgeworld Primarchs, which IMO is something that the Eldar Phoenix Lord models deserve.
