Tabletop World Showcase New Stable Terrain
July 4, 2019 by cassn
Last month, Tabletop World announced that they would be releasing a new Stable Terrain kit. Now, the company are showcasing their work-in-progress paint of their model ahead of the Kickstarter release later this month.
First announced back in June, the Stable is the first part of the Tabletop World City of Altburg collection in collaboration with Broken Egg Games.
Tabletop World have promised these Altburg models will have 'extra details, bigger scale, and more elaborate design'. Certainly, the stable model delivers on this promise.
The attention to detail is meticulous, even down to the nails hammered into the wooden beams.
The buildings will be available in larger heroic scale 28-32mm, ideal for a range of RPG and Skirmish games.
There's just so much to appreciate on these models. I particularly love the leaves which are floating on top of the water trough under the window.
For me, it's these tiny details which elevate a standard tabletop scenario into something exceptional and immersive. Personally, I can't wait to see the paint designs and games which are created from this model, and what the rest of the collection will look like.
The Tabletop World Stable will be launching on Kickstarter on July 12th. In the meantime, you can get a closer look at this building on Facebook.

a stunning looking set buildings.
The animal miniatures are great too.
Such lovely stuff from these guys
Really saucy terrain here. Nice! Little details are always great for terrain and add that little bit extra but speaking for myself my painting skills aren’t the best so sometimes trying to pick out little bits and bobs on the kits can be a bit tricky. If the terrains modular that can be a big bonus too. Allows more flexibility with the details.
