Tabletop-Art Mutant Football Team Releasing In February
January 20, 2021 by brennon
Tabletop-Art has been previewing something away from terrain for those who like their Fantasy Football games. Here we have a set of 28mm miniatures for use in the likes of Blood Bowl with the Thornpear Valleyshockers.
Thornpear Valleyshockers // Tabletop-Art
This big team is made up of some fun-looking miniatures including these pesky little Snots here. I love the poses that they've gone for with this team which really help build up the sense of character amongst the team. You could easily come up with names for all of these little characters and have fun with them on the tabletop.
You've even got some fun characters who have been bished and boshed around, potentially tossed by some of the bigger guys.

I love the fellow who has just hit the field of play on his noggin. You can hear the crunch and the squelch as he connects with the ground! A large part of Fantasy Football games like Blood Bowl is the comedy of it all and it's always good to have miniatures like this which reinforce that and take away from the seriousness of tactical play.

The Big Guys in the team are going to be made of resin whilst the smaller miniatures will be crafted in resin instead. As a whole, you'll get access to a Mutant Ogre, Linesmen, a Catcher and six Snots which can help you make up the numbers and stand on the line of scrimmage.

This is a great set of miniatures which, as I've mentioned before, are packed with character and would be fun to use as an alternative team on the tabletop. With the style of Big Guys we're seeing here they could obviously work as Snotlings but I bet they would be able to run the gambit and be used as an array of "evil" teams.
If you're looking for more preview images then make sure to check out their blog entry about the miniatures HERE. Watch out for pre-orders going live in February.
Do you like these creatures?

I like the ratogre and the troll? Figures.
Those big guys look really good while little guys have comical look to them.
