Tabletop-Art Show Off Burly Ogre Landsknechte For Fantasy Armies
February 24, 2022 by brennon
Tabletop-Art has been showing off some new Fantasy miniatures for you to use in your armies. Somewhat out of left field, we have a band of burly Ogre Landsknechte!
Ogre Landsknechte // Tabletop-Art
These miniatures are going to be available in the next few months in 28mm scale and (probably) in resin. There are three different poses that should make for a good monstrous unit in games like 9th Age or Kings Of War.
The team at Tabletop-Art have been showing off some spins of the different renders showing off the amount of detail included in these sculpts. They look great and really capture that feel of Warhammer Fantasy Battles Ogre Mercenaries that could find their way into Empire armies and such. They might even be good for those still playing classic games like Mordheim.
I think there is plenty of character built into these sculpts and, if the miniatures come out nicely, they should be a lot of fun to paint. I like that they didn't skimp on the slashed silks for these miniatures in particular! Get them looking very colourful but with a splash of blood here and there I reckon!
It is well worth keeping an eye on this collection. Hopefully, if it goes down well, we could see some additional Fantasy figures from Tabletop-Art.
Which of the trio of models is your favourite?

I’ve always loved the Landsknecht-style ogres.
Stunning figures.
Those seem promising.
Good and chunky but too clean cut for the brutes in my opinion. Definitely rocking the right amount of feathers for an Empire force.
Landsknechts and Ogres, what more could you want!
