Tabletop Art Base Your Minis On Crystal Tech and Trench Warfare
April 19, 2015 by dracs
Tabletop Art have some new 32mm scale bases released, taking your miniatures to the crystal powered tech of the future or to the conditions of trench warfare.
The Power of Crystals
The latest two Crystal Tech bases keep to the scifi design we have seen before. One set features crystals bursting out of the ground, while the other remains blank leaving the designs uncovered.
While the crystals look cool, I could see there being some difficulty in easily basing your miniatures as on a couple of them they use up a lot of the blank space. Of course, that is where the blanks win, although they don't have quite the same dramatic feel to them.
Take to the Trenches
The trench bases, on the other hand, are about as far removed from the clear cut scifi setting as it is possible to get.
These bases seem a bit more understated than the Crystal Tech ones, with small details that convey the setting while still leaving enough space for ease of basing. The cool thing about trench warfare bases is that they can be used for almost any setting, be it scifi or historical.
Have you used any of Tabletop Art's bases in the past?
