Superheroes & Stampedes In New Fluxx Card Game Releases
February 15, 2019 by cassn
Looney Labs have announced a collaboration with Cardinal Industries to produce two new IP Fluxx card games for the tabletop.
Fluxx, Andrew Looney's competitive card game which changes rulesets with each new card played, has seen almost every IP iteration imaginable, from Cthulhu to Monty Python. This latest announcement will see Marvel Fluxx and Jumanji Fluxx added to that roster.
Each game will be released under two different versions - the Cardinal Games mass market version, retailing at $15 (released in August 2019), and the Loony Labs early version which will be released in July. This Looney Labs version will contain seven additional cards and will retail for $20.
Personally, I have grown a little weary of the constant Fluxx IP releases. However, the Jumanji version has piqued my gamer interest. Okay, maybe it won't send a stampede through my living room, but my house looks like that happened anyway, and there's plenty of interesting rules that can be applied from the Jumanji franchise to Fluxx cards. Until the release, I'll be keeping up-to-date through the Looney Labs website.

??? Better tell doc Emmett his capacitor is playing up ???
So Fluxx has become Monopoly of card games in way that it can be attached to every license possible.
Very much so, although at least they do adapt the rules to fit the theme.
