We're back with the Ito Clan in this month's preview for the world of Bushido by GCT Studios. Here we have Kyou who has summoned the serpent that is so synonymous with his clan...
"Whilst the female Shisai perform rituals and tend to Orochi's shrines, the male initiates are the martial arm of the faithful. Instead of blessings of transformation and the ability to channel the Will of Orochi; he has been gifted a serpent companion.
Even if Kyou finds himself debilitated his escort fights on unaffected. He also empowers other Shisai around him increasing their commitment to the cause."
Another great looking character in an interesting pose! I love the way they've designed Kyou here as he's commanding his serpent companion forward and guiding it with his other hand. The serpent too is fantastic and the studio paint job brings it to life.

The coiling of the snake is beautifully done.
I wonder how he played in the game at Salute this year? If you looked closely at the pictures from the BOW coverage, you can see an unpainted version on the demo table during the @brennon interview.
But again, great stuff. Also interesting to see a male from this sect. I was curious if Shisai were only females but this answers that question. New 4Ground terrain, new models, next stop….BUSHIDO WEEK!! Let’s make it happen!
