Summon Dark Art Studios’ 28mm Lost Legion On Kickstarter

Dark Art Studios is running an awesome campaign over on Kickstarter to bring to life an army of 28mm metal Skeletons for use in your Fantasy wargames. The Lost Legion, who vanished into the woods of Europe, have been resurrected and are now marching out of the shadows to battle those that damned them.

The Lost Legion miniatures have been sculpted by Oliver Townshend and give you the basis of an awesome collection for those looking to build a Roman-themed undead army. If you're playing games like Oathmark, I could see these being a great way to add to your Kingdom and use the Revenant rules alongside them.

Skeleton Spearmen // Dark Art Studios

There are two sets of miniatures for you to choose from essentially that can also be bundled together. The first of these sets are the Skeleton Spearmen who can make up the rank and file of your shambling army. You can also go with the Skeleton Swordsmen who could be your more elite warriors.

Both sets feature that awesome leader or champion as well. I like to this that these warriors, whilst shambling, have retained a lot of their military discipline and bring that to the battlefield. These are no unthinking spectres!

You can also get your hands on a bundled set which gives you both sets of 28mm metal miniatures, the perfect set for a skirmish wargame or the start of a larger army.

Bonus miniatures over on Kickstarter including a Rising Legionary who is pushing their way out of the ground and some awesome Centurion miniatures. I really like the mixing of the Historical and the Fantasy here and this could end up turning into quite the epic army project!
