Studio Miniatures Add Norma Jean To The Zombie Killing
February 16, 2016 by brennon
Studio Miniatures have added another preview to social media as they looking ahead to the zombie killing coming in Hollywood Havoc. Here we have Norma Jean who is in a rather iconic pose BUT with a chainsaw...
She looks like she is really enjoying the fact she gets to cut some zombies in half. I think it's fun seeing what classic Hollywood icons they draw on and I will be keeping an eye out for the next one!
If you could choose any Hollywood icon to fight against the zombie apocalypse; who would it be?

Bizarre..
I’m not totally sure if she’s a zombie or not…
It’s a play on an Iconic pose of Marilyn Monroe from the movie ” the Sven year itch) and I think it’s cool. It’s fun and different of course the mentally ill PC peons will be out to complain about lack of armour and whatever other crap they can come up with.

Hey, don’t start up being defensive- no one here is being accusatory about this sculpt.
Here’s an odd fact- that pose is not actually in The Seven Year Itch. While there is a scene that’s all about the wind blowing up her skirt, the iconic image of Marilyn isn’t actually in the film.
Weird, huh? But this sculpt is definitely playing on iconic Marilyn.
Nope. It’s a straight forward homage to a scene that became synonymous with Marilyn Monroe. In context, humour is added with the chainsaw and she wears the same outfit from the scene. She isn’t hyper sexualised or depicted in a submissive pose. So no complaints here from all the lads in the so-called ‘PC Brigade’. “PC peons” is new on me – at least there’s alliteration. My understanding was that it was PC types that were very touchy but the defensive tone of your post suggests it might be the other way around? And I wouldn’t throw around mentally ill… Read more »
I’d want to see a painted version but so far I don’t like the face.
@odinsgrandson Social Progressives would’ve fought for your rights as well. Assuming your right ever needed defending. Despite being mentally ill and your comments on the matter, I’d still defend you the same way I’d defend others. Thumbs down for trying to use mentally ill as an insult though.
Iconic pose + chainsaw. I don’t know why that works, but somehow it does.
This sculpt inevitably leads you to wonder what particular conversation or sequence of events lead to the birth of such an awesomely heterodox notion for a model.
