Studio Giraldez Get Their Hands On Actual THON Miniatures!

You know THON? The game that everyone has been waiting on miniatures for? Well it looks like the first few tasters are on their way out there as Studio Giraldez have got their hands on a Starter Pack of sorts which you can check out below!
As you can see it looks like it comes with a walker, two character figures and then this singular trooper alongside a pair of very nice looking dice. There are a few more miniatures in there too but we're yet to see them! I must say I'm not too much of a fan of the big walker chap but the heroes look awesome and trooper isn't too bad either. It will be interesting to see what else is on the way!

The walker looks a bit underfed but then it may be lightning fast – the pose is a bit pants. And the single trooper looks like he/she has knock knees.
Looks rather bleh.
Are the Thon figures hiding behind the box with the crappy 80s sculpts in front of it..?
These look dreadful. Only the 2nd from the left looks like a modern-day sculpt.
If I’m going to shell out more money for metals, I expect Avatars of War or Infinity level of quality.
That is a stiff pose even for a robot.
Its a shame these minis don’t match up to the stunning artwork on the Thon website.
Wasn’t this meant to be the next big thing a year or two ago? not a week went by without someone (usually the bow crew) gushing over the miniatures or artwork.
Did they suffer some major setback or just fail to get to market while people were interested?
Also, meh on these.
I’m sure a few of you will feel differently about the miniatures once Giraldez has waved his magic paint brush over them.

Surely. But Since most people don’t paint like our lord Jesus Christ Giraldez the look of the current minis IS crucial. The walker is pretty horrible but the rest looks ok. Not very good or so, but ok. I’d really like a much higher res pic of them though.
I don’t think even he can polish this turd.
