Lucid Eye Publications have continued to build on their collection of the weird and wonderful with a new character for The Plot Device and some Savage Core: Age Of Ice warriors.

Ultrateen Zal Krete District Controller Of The Queensway

Leading the way we have Ultrateen Zal Krete District Controller Of The Queensway; yes, that is his full title. When it comes to dandy folk who are probably more dangerous than their outfit would suggest I would say this fellow fits the bill.

I really like the sculpting of his long coat and the pose is rather cool too. I reckon he'd look awesome with a very bright and ostentatious paint scheme.

As well as him we have some new characters for the world of Savage Core. I've picked out some of my favourites starting with Neanderthal Boss Lame Getra Tribal Mother here.

We saw a few previews of the Amazons not too long ago and the sculpting quality bowled me over. It's nice to see this continue across the other miniatures in the line-up too. Atlantean Boss Krixos the Indomitable has very much the look of a Gaulish Chieftain about him and it's nice to see that mix of the Historical and the Fantasy mashed together here.

Talking of Amazons here is their faction leader, Amazon Boss Seratra the Foundling. You can almost get a sense of place from the model as she is having to keep the hair from her eyes in a blustery blizzard, scouting the enemy from afar.

Last from my selection we also have the Simian Boss Vim The Mad leading the way. He hasn't had to quite wrap up as warm as the others but I have a feeling his internal rage and power keeps him going on those cold ice fields.

You can go and check out more of the range for this particular expansion to Savage Core over on their webstore.

Are you a fan of this game and the models?
