Face The Steely Stare Of Durgin Paint Forge’s Redcoat Admiral
November 27, 2018 by brennon
Durgin Paint Forge has been working away on their range for the Fantasy world of Inneath and the latest sculpt is the Redcoat Admiral who is looking dangerous and grim.
You could see her standing atop the cliffs watching her ships form up into a fleet below her as they get ready for war. I love the atmosphere evoked in this sculpt with the wind whipping her cloak around and the subtle lift that you can see on the fur-lined collar.
This miniature is prime territory for a diorama. You could have her be the focal point of it, the light on her, whilst behind in the background, you have the shadowy ranks of men who follow her commands.
Considering all of the whimsical looking characters we've seen for this world it's nice to also see some who have an edge to them.
What do you think of her?
