Steamforged Show Off New Piratical & Clerical Critical Role Character
July 5, 2019 by brennon
Steamforged Games has been working alongside Critical Role once more to produce two new Limited Edition miniatures for fans of the D&D series. The first of these is Caduceus Clay, the wonderful Firbolg Cleric.
Caduceus Clay is played by Talien Jaffe and has become a mainstay of The Mighty Nein since he joined their group. It's good to finally have a Cleric in the group who actually healed his allies (looking at you Laura Bailey!). The twist in the tale is that he uses the Grave Domain and so his mastery of the dead runs the fine line between acceptable and macabre.
He is played as a quiet and reserved character who has power brimming inside him. His humble nature is a joy to see in game. His character is also exceptionally colourful with beetle-blue armour and shocking pink hair so he will be fun to paint.
Set Sail!
As well as Clay we also have Avantika who showed up when The Mighty Nein decided to try and become pirates.
Avantika has links to not only a particular deity but also one of the members of The Mighty Nein. This led to some fascinating encounters (in all senses of the word!) and she was a fascinating character. The miniature here is pretty on point with her description; flamboyant and slightly unhinged.
Will you be picking up either of these new characters from the webstore?

Fabulous looking figure’s for gamer’s.
I’ve already ordered both of these! Great figures as always.
So far I’ve managed to snag one of everything that has been offered.
I did go ahead and order two of the ‘Orly Skiffback’ the tortle. (large turtle humanoid with eye patch that plays bagpipes)
Those are very nice.
