Statuesque Reveal More Toys Wandering The Woods
February 27, 2019 by brennon
Statuesque Miniatures revealed some more previews for their Left At The Bottom Of The Garden collection with a few more charming toy-based characters.
Why are the toys wandering in the woods? Well, because they are following this large Penguin of course. This fellow seems to know where he is going and the little rats and nice always come along and add new stones and pretty shiny gems to his necklace.
The Penguin isn't the only bird to have found himself at the bottom of the garden though. These pesky Crows are also squawking away on the branches, annoying others with their rude ways.
These two newer previews then complete the current collection of examples for this range. There's no word on when these might appear but I think this is a wonderful set of characters which would be great for role-playing and board games.
I like the story told through these miniatures and whilst it would be good to have a game to base them in, sometimes that's not needed. Occasionally just having a group of miniatures to appreciate and paint is enough!
I would love to see these come to the fore from Statuesque Miniatures as well as their work on the Trows that we've followed over the past few months. I can imagine a fair few people would really like to get these so they could start painting.
What do you make of what they've been working on?
